• General operation of pressure trucks as per company procedure and training including but not limited to the following tasks:
• Complete daily pre trips and logbooks regardless of travel radius or unit weight and in compliance with Alberta Department of Transportation legislation including complying with hours-of-service legislation
• Communicate with dispatch regarding maintenance defects that require immediate repair or follow up
• Complete minor maintenance as needed to continue safe and effective operation of unit. Eg: greasing, topping up fluids, checking tires, restocking unit inventory etc.
• Respond to dispatch verbally and using electronic communication. This includes at time of dispatch, when arriving at location, during operation, when leaving location and arriving back to base. Review procedure with dispatch when working alone to ensure procedure is understood
• Complete electronic field tickets immediately at completion of job including all steps detailed during training. Review steps provided until comfortable with the process, if still not understood communicate with Field Supervisor or dispatch. Tickets must be “sent to office” within 12 hours
• Consistently comply with Sniper Health and Safety guidelines including onboarding requirements and reviewing updated policies/procedures and bulletins as required
• Attend all required third party training and comply with all Customer Health and Safety requirements
• Arrive to work fit for duty as per policy
• Maintain PPE as required by policy
• Participate in competency and behavior observations, which include working knowledge of job components/tasks learned through experience and training. and communication with Management and Supervisors
• Communicate professionally and effectively with all customers and coworkers, ensure all workplace issues are communicated through Supervisors. Prevent violence and harassment in the workplace as per policy
• Report all illnesses incidents, accidents, CVSA violations and near misses immediately using the Chain of Command contact list found in your truck binder
• Participate in any investigation, corrective action or meetings when requested by Management
• Participate in all safety meetings, toolbox meetings, and site hazard assessments as required
• Know your Occupational Health and Safety Rights, as well as your right to Stop Work as per policy
• 25% Sitting during all driving/paperwork completion
• 45% Pushing/pulling/lifting more than 50lbs.
• 30% Squatting/kneeling/crawling during chain up/maintenance and service
• 3 years Oil and Gas Industry preferably with off road driving experience
• Read and write English, with enough technical knowledge needed to complete required job tasks using cell phone applications
• Class 1, 3 or 5 driver’s license, and a clean driver abstract
