· Daily maintenance of all Sniper equipment so that it is in compliance of Snipers Commercial Vehicle Program and maintenance schedule
· Perform inspections, diagnosis and repairs of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles, trailers and other shop equipment
· Estimates time and material costs on vehicle repairs
· Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment, comply with vehicle safety standards
· Complete required work orders utilizing maintenance program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times
· Review, complete or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
· Enter all data collected and maintain work order system using the Axon system
· Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with company standards
· Complete shop inspections and maintain SDS inventory
· Communicate with customers and respond accordingly to concerns or questions
· Review new units with owner/operators during onboarding process to ensure proper rig up of new equipment
· Oversee all shop personnel as well as train, supervise and mentor apprentice mechanics as required
· Travel to field to conduct repairs on work sites, be prepared to stay on site when necessary
· Ensure that all valid safety certification/orientations are in place before travelling to site
· Communicate with Shop Foreman, Service Manager and Branch Manager regarding all work-related and employee issues
· Consistently comply with all Sniper Services policies/procedures and Safety orientations
· Attend all further training required to ensure competency for position eg: Schooling for upgrading, crane operation certification, first aid, man lift certification, Supervisor training etc.
· Journeyman Certification
· Competency using various computer systems to record and document repairs and diagnose problems. Such as Axon, Microsoft Office/Excel and Word
· Physical requirements: Push, pull, drag, and lift items up to 100lbs and occasionally must work at shoulder level with equipment weighing up to 25 pounds
· Valid Class 1/3 or 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract
· Must be able to supply your own set of hand tools to perform basic repairs
· Pre hire/Random/Post Incident drug and alcohol testing required

· Attend all further training required to ensure competency for position eg: Schooling for upgrading, crane operation certification, first aid, man lift certification, Supervisor training etc.
· Completion of Sniper three-month probationary period
· Application into the Alberta Apprentice program, maintain blue book
· Competency using various computer systems to record and document repairs and diagnose problems, such as Axon, Microsoft Office/Excel and Word
· Physical requirements: Push, pull, drag, and lift items up to 100lbs and occasionally must work at shoulder level with equipment weighing up to 25 pounds
· Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract
· Work hours may require overtime, weekends and/or holidays
· Must be able to supply your own set of hand tools to perform basic repairs. (After probationary period)
