The Dispatcher is responsible for the following duties including but not limited to:
· Plan, coordinate, and dispatch projects relating to the Transportation of Dangerous Goods for tank truck, pressure truck, and vacuum truck operations.
· Communicate consistently throughout a 24-hour period to ensure driver safety and consistent operations excellence.
· Communicate with Service Managers and mechanics to schedule repairs, regular maintenance, and deal with unscheduled breakdowns.
· Review and complete all paperwork and administrative tasks related to dispatch:
· Ticket review and completion, verify for accuracy within predetermined timeline.
· Follow up with drivers on paperwork deletions or deficiencies.
· Add other charges to tickets prior to completion. Eg: Flush, chemical, wait time, etc.)
· Communicate any outstanding requested corrections to Field Supervisors and the GM.
· Coordinating driver schedules to comply with required on/off times (monitoring hours of service requirements).
· Communicating with General Manager regarding any driver requests for time off, no shows or discipline issues.
· Maintain chemical inventory and ensure billing has been accurately completed for chemical use/purchase.
· Responsible for communicating with customers, and suppliers and other Sniper branches.
· Communicate with all levels of the Sniper organization including drivers, supervisors, managers, payroll, AR, and administration while adhering to the Sniper Chain of Command call list.
· Attend any required training to update skills or renew knowledge of legislation relating to the operation of Transportation of Dangerous Goods and Department of Transportation Regulations.
· Demonstrate commitment to Sniper Services Health and Safely policies, safe work procedures and all required completion of documents.

· 30% Walking/Standing
· 3 years Oilfield and/or TDG dispatch experience including knowledge of HOS, DOT regulations and Journey Management.
· Read and write English.
· Computer literate/experience with Axon an asset.
· Above average communication skills.
· Class 1 driver’s license

*Schedule: Eight (8) days on six (6) days off: In the office 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and 24 hours per day on call
Requirements: Pre hire/Post Incident/Re hire drug and alcohol testing is required
